History of Temple |
- The Utsavar murtis
are Krubaa Samudra Perumal, Dayaanayagi. Vyaagrapaadar had prayed
to Lord Siva & had got the legs, hands & eyes of a tiger.
He had prayed to Lord Vishnu at this sthalam & attained moksham.
Hence the name Sirupuliyur. (in Tamil Puli-Tiger; Siru-small) |
