History of Temple |
- The Utsava murtis
are Soundarya Raajan, Gajalakshmi. There are sannadhis for Govindaraajan
in standing posture and Ranganaathan in sayana posture. There
is a bronze idol of Narasimhar with 8 hands in the Ranganaathar
sannadhi. One hand is blessing Prahalaadhan, one as Abhaya hastam,
and the rest of the hands used to kill Hiranyan. |
